Finished and using my slave cable. It's 22' with red and black 2/0 and put in a tig torch jacket. Mine was the cheap denham and that was a lot of wire to pull through it. Next time I would get the zipper type cover.
Sorry, can't this Saturday.
They have a little video on the website of the Power Show (that is dated).

I was just throwing it out for consideration. Another central location might be Grissom ARB.
Hi Mike. Re the rally, the Fulton County Museum is along US 31 and has some large gatherings. It's easy to get in and out and centrally located in North Indiana.
Yea frank, that second one shows it perfectly.
Myself, If I were running air lines (on the truck), I might put one to the tank for tools, maybe a hose reel.
I have a hose connected all the time to the glad hand and would like something more permanent
I googled "m35a2 brake system diagram" and came up with a lot of results. Service brakes do seem to attach to the airpack....but again, I'm not an authority...just have some plans for using the M105 brakes and actuator.
Once you determine how the truck works, you may want an air flow control...
Sorry, not familiar with the earlier deuce brake versions and the air system. I have an A3 (and have not got into the brakes yet...tranny first).
The 105 is simple....put air to the air over hydraulic unit and it actuates the brakes. So more air, more pressure against the spring and more...
Yes, attach to service brakes. When air is applied, brakes actuate. I'm not sure how brakes on an M35A2 work with the air however.
As far as I can tell, they will not meet the break-away requirement without some modification. Note break-away is not required on all trailers however (I think...
I'm sure whatever you come up with will guide your decisions to make the most from what you have. Good luck.
I like the Cummins but it will be tight, especially if you try to maintain 4 wheel drive. Maybe a 4BT. I mention a dually as a donor...to keep the CG low, but have the drive line...
Putting M37 rat rod into Google brings up a lot of "images".
Having a dually pickup donor could be really interesting. You could go really low with just 2 WD.
I had a similar noise in an 817. I was entirely wrong on diagnosis as wheel bearings and even went so far as to round up a full set to do a rebuild, when a friend helped to disconnect the driveshafts and run it in place. We saw the emergency brake hanging up like it was out of round and the...
I've made more than one complaint about a judge. One that allows attorneys and gov officials to lie in his court is facing a lot of pressure and not running for office again. He'll go back to being just a lying attorney.
I'd like to get a law degree but I would stand up to a corrupt judge...
What are the restrictions for going out for "a drive" with this type of registration that you have now? Do they differ from regular historic plates for those occasional times we just want to drive around or haul some stuff?
Completely agree....and the LMTV has a lot of electronics. If someone came up with a kit to change them all manual....it'd overcome some electronics failures....just my 02. But then it's changing the OEM design, so would only be an assembled vehicle, not as-manufactured.
I have bought 16 and sold 13, thus have ended up with 3 nice trucks. Really I should be reducing to 2, so have offered the 5 ton and deuce for sale so I can concentrate on 2 and not 3 trucks. My keeper is a low mile M929A2.
The M35A3 is not back together yet (new tranny) and I still would...
If your watching, you may have seen the M931A2 that I have for sale. It would make the perfect 4x4. I'm not too far from you.
I also have an M35A3 that I would sell. It would make a great 4x4 also. I think it's about number 4700 of 5600 produced, 97 year. Nice Cat 3116 engine. Green...
Wes, The reservoir looks a bit small. You must be relying on what comes back from the rod side as just the push side is .92 gal. If you are venting the rod side, you will run out of oil.
I have one of the same pumps. There are flanges to weld on a bigger tanks and also bigger, ready made...
When they start slipping, the clutch pack piston is probably weak and seal leaking. If you let it go it can burn up the frictions and maybe melt the aluminum piston....which makes a real mess. My M35A3 did that and it was not pretty. Rebuild sooner rather than later....new seals are much...
