    GT, Could he have broke the rear yoke ( split the collar) and in turn pulled the splines, I have seen that happen on other trucks though not MVs

    I would put a 65-70 chevy 250 6 with the low geared first 4 spd truck trans, most likely won't find a better repower package fo this truck

    Why your transmission leaks oil

    Another thought on these tranny leaks is the VENT, that gets plugged or even sticky where it opens late after pressure has started to build WILL cause leaks where ever the pressure can find a place to escape, like a SLIGHTLY worn seal that would hold fine under normal pressure I think these...

    ON a WET road, you just put your self into a SPIN with a failure to one circut, a balanced system side to side is needed to keep the stopping as straight as possible
