It's hard to see the detail for hub or stud centered on most photo's but here is one that seems to show it on e-pay. Use this title: Utility Tool & Trailer Pneumatic Tire Rim Wheel Blk 129374 M105A3 Cargo Trailer . It says the OD is 23" so that would have to be 19.5, not 16.5.
It appears they will fit but not in a dual configuration. Personally I don't like budds on the front and could see them used there, but I like the width of budds on the back. Are these wheels plentiful? First choice is the A3 wheel for the front of a deuce with 365's (14.5) with 11.00r20 budd...
I want the black that is equal to FS 37030, for the bottom but don't want latex acrylic, like the Behr or Ace that I recently had made. I want Rustoleum oil based.
When I get flat black in Rustoleum, it isn't the same as the FS 37030 black. I watched at Ace and noticed that when they mixed...
It probably will fit but it depends on the center between the wheel wells. Or you could remove those wheel wells and use the opening on the 788. I do think gen trailers are usually narrower but you may have enough room. A lot of the later stuff is at HMMWV width however. Let us know.
Chris, I may take you up on that. My donor 105 is a rebuilt model so it has the extra side supports that make "flush" difficult to mount boxes with a straight back, like Champ173rd in the photo's above. Even then, I notice his sticks out over the strap hooks.
I may end up cutting most of...
It will fit, I have an S-788.
Here is what I'm doing to make the S-788 to fit an 1101. Note the trailer has about 4" of sides above the floor. That's the wheel well depth on the S-788, which I think is about the same on the S-250. In the case of the S-788, it's also longer, so mine will...
Yes, I see. It made me go look at my donor 105 and the deuce bed to compare widths. The deuce bed is 2" under 8', so about same as your width. Your boxes must be about 9" deep, but like you say, you have the outer wheel well removed, so that doesn't hold them out. They look very handy and...
Thanks Tracer. I don't say too much about my son's service. He's on a boomer. 105 days under is hard to imagine (out right now). I'm amazed at the amount of info on the internet detailing the Ohio class subs.
Listed my S-788 in the parts classified for anyone wanting an enclosure that would make a good camper... trailer or HMMWV mounted.
Daughters wedding takes priority over my camper-trailer project.
Talked to my dad and looked at lots of pictures. He was in the 34th Bomb Group and we think it was Crew 509. His date of entry was July 1943 and date of separation Sept 7, 1945. When he entered, he was to go to Mass. for engineer training, but ended up in N. Carolina at aircraft mechanic and...
Had the width discussion not long ago when I dualed up an M105 axle. It came out 8' 7 1/2" which is 1 1/2" over the legal limit -8' 6" for non-oversize width. How wide is it with the boxes?
Jeff, does that bolt together deuce dual wheel need a tube or does it have o-ring? aka can it run radial tubeless? Are they available or is it a rare bird?
The budd bevel is a straight bevel and the nuts have a curve. Apparently it works fine, they certainly center the hole and the nut doesn't bottom out...so all is well.
Wheel....as in 1.
One only, this is an experimental aluminum version of the HEMTT wheel (not an MRAP or Caiman wheel!).
Standard 10-lug pattern, what you see is what you get
