003 s have 2 sensors that will stop the engine. Oil pressure and temperature. You can jump tb5-8 to tb5-9 to test this (make sure you actually have oil pressure, less you want to get a new engine)

These are historically pretty wonky. Make sure you have voltage coming into the transducer (rectangular black box) if you have power there id just replace the gauge with a newer line style (no transducer) gauge and bypass the transducer
