I have gotten the "between modes" dual lights before. Wasn't with this situtation.
I went through and checked the QRV - had a tiny bit of crud in it(cleaned it out) but that was it. Took apart the wheel valves and noticed a little silicon grease migrated from the outer lip inward so maybe that...
I'm remembering when I got the truck this QRV was missing...there was a mud dobber nest in the tube going to the front. I pulled out the dirt and flushed it out but maybe the remaining crud screwed up the new valve (old valve from Midwest)
CTIS is set at 85 PSI on an MTV, after filling and the light going solid, the quick release valve going between the front axle and the two rear axles, the one that's mounted next to the transmission on the frame rail, remains open draining the front tires down a bit before it closes. This...
No reason you couldn't, but you would want one rated for weather exposure in that case.
Also perhaps to be able to remove those large gauge 12v cables.
Thought they were being held back due to the Ukraine situation?

Used this kit (The universal 2.0 version) https://www.mgbrakes.com/products
Would have like to use the direct mount master cylinder version, but they said it wouldn't fit.
Basically I'm just using the service brake airline from the truck and it feeds into an air cylinder that has a cable...
Took out the front coil springs, this leveled the truck and made for a better ride. A1R only had those spring for future armor so without it, it was overly stiff.
Had a check engine light today, cat et showed a high voltage on the boost sensor. $280 for the sensor and a lot of fighting I got a...
Haven't found it referenced anywhere. Best I can tell it's this https://koldban.com/product/20030-single-dieselmatic-ether-cylinder/
Can anyone confirm?
My truck is missing it and will be arriving....sometime this winter and in Wi so I'd like to have the ether system working.
Did my fronts, super easy to do. Did use a wire wheel to knock down the sharp pieces of glue.
Fronts were in great shape, not a single crack anywhere. May just keep a few spares and not worry about changing the rears.
Spring was easy to cut with the cutoff wheel, just watch out when it lets go, you might fracture the cutting disc.
Requires 2 cuts to release pressure, second cut has almost no tension, then you can screw the springs together and a few whacks with a hammer you can take it all apart. Easy...
Well, they are off!
Not too bad to remove, They ended up being stroked out with just a tiny bit of compression still left after jacking the tire off the ground from a point on the frame. I was easily able to tap the bolts out in this position with little resistance.
I measured before and...
All the seals (orings and sealing washers) are off the shelf and I've seen people paying $15 for the diaphrams. You can get them much cheaper and they are factory originals. I've used quite a few. https://www.pgttruckparts.com/599805-Eaton-Diaphragm-Seal-p/2264-599805.htm
Mine is in process, hope it arrives soon. Glad yours was only simple stuff, I wasn't brave enough to go with a non runner. Sure is a shame the auction process and how almost no effort is put in. Didn't want to deal with a blown engine or tranny.
Do you mind sharing the auction? Curious how they...
My advice(because the other guys covered everything else), do not buy from Midwest Military Equipment.
Expensive, they do some maintenance and paint but major issues are left untouched.
Seems like CAT SIS doesn't show part numbers for military serial numbers. I have to make guesses with my C7 as it reports the serial number isn't in the system. Not sure the best way to compare?
Not sure the validity, but finding some indications the 505 tune is designed for engines with some modifications, including Jake changes, piston rings, oil jets.
