    From fire truck to MTV

They do not fold. I have no plans for a passthrough behind the seats so no folding needed. The width at the widest part of the cushions is 31". I couldn't ask for a better width. It sits right at the driver/passenger seats with no gap so I'm maximizing seat width for the kids.

    From fire truck to MTV

Wasn't sure if my ABS was working so was going through and cleaning everything, messing around with computer settings . Software would return values like it was talking to the abs ECU, which caused me not to consider the simple solutions, one of the circuit breakers for ABS was pulled. Seems to...

    From fire truck to MTV

It's a 20ft shipping container so pretty strong. We talked a bit about various options and for now we will all be in the cab. That may change in the future if we find out we want to spread out, but there is a lot involved in making them safe in the box with strong seating and restraints. One of...

    LMTV Abs troubleshooting

Well I feel like a dumbo, one of the two ignition pins wasn't getting power due to a missing circuit breaker. Try the simple stuff first.

    LMTV Abs troubleshooting

Still having lots of issues talking to my ABS. Inspect of the module itself and there was a lot of corrosion on it cleaned all the pins up and retried but still didn't work. Unplug the ABS entirely but still getting that j 1587 fault code. Also I'm showing a PGN 65226 from ECU, but connecting to...

Looking for M1078A1 ABS troubleshooting guide

I got 2 DVDs with mine, first had ems2, and multiple IETMs, the second disc had more IETMs, but no ICE or ds test set selector that I saw.

    From fire truck to MTV

Pulled seats and storage out of the cab, found out MWME put inch bolts in the seat locations...and punched through the cab metal from too long of a bolt in one spot. Hopefully the metric threads aren't messed up. Power washed the interior, threw a fan in to dry it out. Next step is installing...

    Power not really off….. strange

They have been known to fail. Unfortunately not the best long term design.

    Power not really off….. strange

The capacitors in the LBCD next to the spare tire holding some charge. There's a note in the manual somewhere that when you do kill power with that switch, go in to the cab and turn the ignition on to drain the capacitors

Looking for M1078A1 ABS troubleshooting guide

If only someone would help with the software for msd/ice...so far I've had no luck finding it. I do have the IETMs though but that doesn't allow use of the various testing hardware

    Cold start c7 issues

Hmm seems like that pretty much always operates if the engine is below 158f. Guess ether trigger must be somewhere else. Wonder if it's hidden and not accessible.

    Cold start c7 issues

It got down to about 30f today (yay snow?) and since I got the tail lights reconnected I took the truck for a drive (first real test with Eco hubs too). The truck didn't turn on the grid heater before startup (for the past month it has-40-50 deg). I tried starting and it cranked up better than...

Educate me on talking to wabco ABS

Doubt it, but maybe? The connection I have is all through the left knee connector. Not sure if he connector by the ABS is direct to it or if I even have an adapter for it.

Educate me on talking to wabco ABS

Trying multiple solutions, various computers with serial adapters and built in serial ports. Have the same returns from software. Everything else works perfectly, abs is the outlier. Tried following the instructions for changing between 1708 and 1939 (power cycle) and same results. Is abs...
