That seems like a easy enough plan, and I do have some army blankets laying around here too. I think I'll pack one in my luggage, and this may just be the ticket for a nice drive back home. I may make some other adjustments too, especially once I get the truck back here at home base. But this...
You mean like the seat that is in your avatar?:lol::lol:
In all seriousness, I have thought about changing the seat at some point. But I'm taking the train out there, so I couldn't take a seat with me. Not sure about finding one once I get there. I'll keep this in mind though, just in...
Hey All,
I'm going to pick up an A2 here in about a week from New Mexico. So I've got about a 1300 mile drive back. I'm 6'4 and about 280, and I was thinking if there was some quick and easy ways of making some leg room to operate the pedals?
I have some ideas in mind once I get the truck back...
To be honest, in my opinion, Insurance companies are just another "legal" ponzi scheme. As if they can find some loop hole (or make one up) to get out of a claim, They Will!
But... unfortunately you have to use them if you want to drive. That is what "goberment lobbyist" did.
And if you ever...
See, I couldn't even get a quote through progressive nor geico. Geico even tried to pass me off to some other local insurance agency, and they wanted $100+ per month. But then I ended up getting it through state farm for $27 per month.
But thats just how it goes I guess. You just have to shop...
Yeah you really have to shop around, you never know what you may come across. As far as State Farm, if I were you I would try a different state farm agency. I have three different state farms in my town, and this time I tried one I hadn't been too before. And they said they could cover the...
I actually went down there and talked with him back several months ago on an A3. I had been thinking on contacting him again but on an A2 this time to see what he had, and how much for a low miles/hours stock A2. I'm gonna contact him here through SS and see whats he's got right now in stock...
Ok, so maybe that part was true. But it still tells that after he changed the tire and/or whatever, he still didn't even go out and test it on a drive. Otherwise he would have caught that.
Anyway, I think I've had it with ebay on something like this. And yes GL is risky.
I don't have a shop...
He said the cable was disconnected because he was replacing dash bulbs....
It is true that you have to unhook the speedo cable to pull the panel far enough out to replace a bulb?
Yeah, I would never recommend anyone go see him. Just to many things to be coincidence.
Thanks for the...
Hey Jimmy, Thanks for the post, and Yes you are very right! I am most glad we didn't make the deal, as you said it would have been a slim chance that it was something small and easy to fix.
We sit back for a few days and pushed this all aside for a bit, and just focused on other things.
But...
Hey Congrats on the Truck [thumbzup]
You've had it a couple months now, How is it holding up?? Any problems? Hows the paint holding up? What is your opinion of the job they did at rebuilding your truck? Would you make another purchase from them?
Well.... I said I would post and update, so I will:
We all have heard "Don't judge a book by its cover"
And we all know you can't judge a deuce by its photos...
My Dad, my brother and I went to pick up the deuce today, took about 2 1/2 hours to get there. Once there, looked at the truck...
Leaving to go pick up the A3 in the morning :driver:
Take about 3 hours according to google to get there, shows it is about 150 miles.
Also, can anyone tell me if the deuce's air line connection will accept a standard air compressor hose fitting???
Thanks All!! [thumbzup][thumbzup]
Thanks, but I did find a battery cut off switch. I actually went ahead and bought two, one for the 24 volt truck system, and one for my 12 volt add-on system.
Well I can finally add my own answer to my OP. :) And it was because of all the people who posted here. I read how many of you were with State Farm. We used to have State Farm back some years ago on a mobile home, but the price just kept going up. Finally canceled. Then as I mentioned in an...
Updated my post above, and took out the part that a 5 pin relay was required, and put instead that a 4 pin relay could also be used.
Thanks for pointing that out kc4wd! [thumbzup]
