Oh okay I didn't know the shackle flips came in 2". I thought they were all 4" like everything else. Who makes the 2" shackle flip? And who makes a u bolt flip for a stock m1028 then?

I promise I read all I could about lift kits before starting another lift thread:drool:. I really didn't want to lift my M1028, but the front springs are shot. And I really should do the rear U-bolt flip as mine look a little scary. I only want to do a 2" lift which is proving difficult to find...

Yes it is direct bolt in. But before you install it, take it to the hardware store to get fit brass plugs for the bosses you won't be using.

yeah that's what I did at first too. The water pump boss is too cold and the dummy light boss on the head is too hot. It's simple, if you look at any new car their all mounted just behind the thermostat.

The hmmwv crossover is going to be the best spot to put it period + it gives you extra threaded bosses for electric fans and such. You can install the sensor in place of the dummy light sensor to get you by. But your only getting a reading from that 1 head. The only way to get a true (TOTAL)...

Stock replacement halogen bulbs. They last just as long as any fancy new ones and can be bought at any auto parts store or walmart along the highway for a fraction of the cost of the fancy one you have to order. 2cents
