The actuator doesn't have a lot of push or pull. Not enough to overcome the full tension of the governor to kill the motor if you set it up to run manual full rpm.
You have to upload the image but the size limits are modest. The best thing to do is to upload a highrez image to an image hosting site and post a link to it here.
4-5hz is maybe a little more than expected BUT 6.5kw is pretty much maxed out on an 802. If there is residue in the exhaust from wetstacking or if your air filter is not clean you'll loose control of the load and stall.
Normally you would set the frequency for about 61.5 and it would droop...
You'll need to carefully cut the cap off to remove and replace the hose. The manifold is on the fragile side.
I recommend using the spring clamps in their place. They won't need a lot of tension to seal.
1 second pulse.
edit - with a DPDT relay in parallel with the switch contacts. Use the second set of relay contacts to prevent open and close signals from being sent at the same time due to a control error.
How long did you let it prime? If you didn't pre-fill the cartridges you will want it to run for 5 min or so.
You will hear the fuel trickling back into the tank once everything is full.
That is what I have found. The Group 51 batteries fit much more easily since they are more slim. The battery hold-down bracket works fine on them as well.
The thing to do is to measure everything and see where you stand. If you have a machine shop near you it would be worth it to drop the block off and have them measure the bores. Should cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $50. That would be cheap insurance to make sure you put it back together...
Hi Neal,
I've looked around and in general the best prices I've found on parts has been on ebay. Even so they are still expensive.
I'm glad I've not had to order many engine parts.
Don't ignore the possibility of putting your own targets on the flywheel. With that method you control the number of pulses per rev. You need to use at least two in opposing positions to keep the flywheel balanced.
