apples to oranges, but our 16's were clapped out. bolts so loose in some, you could here them clanging around. alot couldnt even be zeroed correctly. our trucks (939 types) werent much better. probably rigs for dudes coming through rotation. "the box" or peason ridge is **** on a vehicle...
id love a 939 series rig. i am pretty familiar with them. i have a cdl i keep, just in case it comes back down to it. so thats not a problem. i do/would have an issue with ins. and the state trying to tax and insure it like a comm. vehicle. anyone in WA have any of these probs. with the state...
theres a whole gaggle of 'em around here. that and africans. and the gosh darn canadian/pakistani, sikh, and indian drivers. always poopin out the hole they cut in the sleeper cab because they run three deep. all so rude, and drive JUNKY equipment
o, youd cry, if'n like me, you were a truck driver already, and came to find out everything in the active army MP was auto. not to mention the bozos driving. i was just glad i got to drive a 920 a few times while in. thats about as close as youre gonna get. fun rig to drive.

ours had the usual unit/batt. id markings. my usual rigs (yes i had two) had our platoon markings. a also put a petersons 4wd sticker on my 1114 and as a shout out to the 2nd AD, i made a "**** on wheels" logo 'cause i was 2nd platoon. i dont have a pic of it: wish ida takin a picture of that...
hemmts, hets and pls types arent able to get the power to the ground in a manner befitting of their grandesque stature and status. they need more gears or manual transmission. but that wont happen, as they cant figure out how to properly train a bunch of dumbass, knuckleheads how to use a clutch...
whats that paper-holder-downer of a motor that they call a cat weigh? lets say 1500 lbs., does that sound aboot right? what did the lds motor weigh? maybe a few pounds more? ok, now whats the 400 weigh? about 3000 pounds. you could make it work, but is it worth it?
i drove one of them on my little vacation to the sandbox. i had one of the wrench monkeys turn up my normal truck a bunch. it smoked a little already before he turned it up, but after he did, it was a smoke screen when you really got after it. but it hauled. bumped my accel and responding time...
