how should the batterys be hooked up in a stock system? mine are hooked up back battery positive to front battery positive, then the same for the negitive then front battery negitive to ground

If you need to replace it i would recommend a spin-on filter conversion, Thats what i did and i love it, its easier to change and the filter is $18.99 for a wix
Looks good!!!! the doghead starter relay is on my to-do list. If the coolant light won't work you could add a temp. gauge thats what i did and I'm glad i did!
Some special tools would be any other tool you would use on anyother vehicle, such as pully puller, harmonic balencer puller. but most of the stuff can be rented from a local parts store such as O'rielly auto parts, autozone, and they are FREE to rent.
The slave cables can be bought on ebay...
If would go with a high volume oil pump you NEED a high capacity oil pan or the high flow of the pump would drain the pan before the oil can get back to the pan.
I love my M1009, Amazing Off road, good gas mileage, and it holds 27 Gallons, more than the other vehicles. If you would want to go on highway i would recommend the M1009 since its gear ratio is 3.08, where as the M1008 has a 4.56 gear ratio. Highway these vehicles get 24 highway going 60-65.
