Welcome to the Goat Madhouse.
Here's a link to the Lube Order. Most of the manuals are available at the top of this screen under "Technical Manuals." The -20 is not there but is available on line.

In today's episode of As the Earth Rotates we find our intrepid MVer...scrapping paint. Gee it's almost as fun as watching it dry.
I did have a visitor of the Red Tailed variety as seen over the fender of the deuce. He dropped by for the afternoon buffett at the bird feeder. His delicacy of...
I hadn't heard of dry ice blasting but would imagine it's even more expensive than soda blasting. I'm waiting for the blaster to get free time to start on mine but figured since he charges by the hour not the job I might as well get some of it done myself. If he keeps dragging his feet I might...
Both of the the 100amp military alternators are gone so that's a deduction (yes it appears to be 12v now), they cut a hole in the roof of the box so that's a deduction, it doesn't have the military paint scheme any more so that's a deduction. Yep I'd say $3k is good. There you have "they said so."
Unfortunately I don't have any kids to help out so I used to borrow a friend's. He's grown up and working now and has his own MV to deal with so I rely on other friends as much as possible. Keith_J did the lion's share of work on the wife's M37 and TexAndy and M813rc helped me go to recover...
Well the weather held out but I didn't. Working on and off as much as I could I still only got about 4hrs (probably closer to 3) in between 7am and 5pm. So instead of getting all of the inside of the carrier done I got less than half. It'd be nice if I could manage that much 5 days in a row...
The actual production run of Goats went from 1968-1972. The first 4,000 delivered were not accepted by the military due to serious defects and were put in to storage until they could be fixed.
Mine is a 1971 USMC Goat. The Marines took about 1500 of the 15k produced.
In today's money the...
So a little more un-yellow today. Tomorrow I'll go back over this area with a DA. If the weather cooperates I might be able to get most of the inside of the carrier done before the weekend.
Well after a 3 hour MRI this morning to see if I still have a brain and a spine (won't see the DR until Oct so will assume they're still there) I came home to start back in on the paint eradication. Temps are in the mid 70s so reflecting off my concrete drive are upwards of the high 80s. I put...
Well after watching what salvage Goats brought in TX today I'm feeling pretty good about mine. The decent (and I use that term quite loosely) looking ones (all w/o winch) brought nearly twice what I paid for mine and this one brought the same as mine. Of course I had that much in driving to NC...
It's probably because like a S.E.E. or myself, you move so far past ugly you get back into the cute category.
After heading back out after lunch I discovered the bolt heads were 1 1/8th and my impact collection only went to 1 1/16th (of course), so it was off to NAPA for a new tool. Once home...
Thanks to Tornadogt the Waffle House Express is now al fresco. Personally I think it looks much better this way but it is still yellow.
One of my fears was that the Forest Service buggered up the spot where the front lifting rings went. They had removed them to mount the top and it wasn't...
