When to Engage Front Wheel Drive

Lock in the front axle before you get into a bad situation. It the ground looks even a little questionable, lock it in.

Parking M923 in Glendale, AZ Residential Neighborhood

I'd say find a storage lot that allows RV's. If the code is stated like you spelled it out on here it may be cut and dry. In Kansas city, MO you can't keep a large vehicle parked in a residential area for more than two hours.

    Tire safety.

I know a guy who used to work at a tire shop. They'd spray some ether in to the tire and strike a match. The expanding (burning) ether would seat the tire. I never saw it done, just the story as he tells it.

    Speedometer Adapter Leaking Gear Oil

I'm sure that my speedo adapter is leaking. Slings oil all over the bottom of the truck. I thought it was the front output shaft seal at first but I noticed lots of oil on the bottom of the speedo adapter like it has been dripping. I need a seal but also an adapter for 11.00x20 tires. I'm...

Military Museum Participates in Europen Soft Air Tournament

We use out deuces to support the D-Day paintball game down in Oklahoma. We also use them during out Operation East wind airsoft game. The D-Day game is huge. The East Wind game is small with a max of 60 people on each side (NOTA and Warsaw Pact). Deuces are great fun for moving people.

    M105 landing gear question

I'm not home so I can't measure. Part of it depends on if the lunette ring is up or down. I wish the landing gear had a low range like semi trailers. It's tough to crank with a heavy load.

    CB Tutorial

I don't know much about CUCV wiring myself. Can he wire it right to a battery without causing trouble? For my vans I ran heavy wire from the battery to the inside of the vehicle and installed a fuse block just for my accessories. Powers the ham radio, 12 volt outlets, etc.

Looking for a deuce, what can you tell me about these?

Sounds like the first one is a better deal but it would be best to have some one with deuce experience look them both over. Use the search on here to help answer specific questions.

    M35a2 motor swap

I think a little bit of the blue loctite thread locker should work. Some of the red stuff (the 272 I think) will basically weld the bolts in.

    Sellers blues :(

I met a guy while visiting Winnipeg. He said the only thing in his whole life he regrets is selling his M211.
