I fixed my non functioning fuel gage. Took the sending unit out and it wasn't gunked up or frozen. I checked the resistance and it varied like it was supposed to when moved up and down. I plugged it back in without putting it in the tank, turned on the battery switch and the fuel gage worked...
I have searched the forums for replies concerning shipping MV’s by rail, even read all of the “Should we have a train forum/ bash Ferro” thread. I’ve only found one comment on shipping by rail and that was negative due to the chance for vandalism. I want to ship my 5 ton from Houston to...
Pagan I know exactly where you are talking about. I lived in Billings in 1980 - 1982 and I used to store and fly my Ultralight airplane at Oscar's hanger. I would fly my ultralight all up and down the valley from Billings down to Laurel. Oscar did have quite a collection.
I just changed my large filter on my M923A2. I opened up the drain valve on the bottom to drain it and nothing happened. I didn’t have a schrader valve on the top but there was a T in the line on the outlet side with a pipe thread plug used as the air inlet so I loosened that and still nothing...
Update - I finally got back to the truck and took the lenses off the composite lights and it is not the brake light staying on, it is the turn signals both staying on all the time. I unplugged the turn signal switch and the lights went off so now I am thinking the problem is in the flasher...

Hey Mkcoen, I picked my M923A2 from San Marcos on the 11th along with Davo727. Thanks for letting me know what the bumper numbers meant. Based on your interpretation, mine is from B Btry 4th 133rd FA of the Texas National Guard. Like yours, my batteries were dead. I made the mistake of...
I just picked up my first MV this week from San Marcos, TX (1990 M9323A2) . Successfully made it home to Houston but on the way home Dave, who was following behind us in his truck let me know that my brake lights were staying on all the time. When I got home and turned everything off the brake...
I think I am going to name my 5 ton "Audrey II" after the big green blood sucking plant in Little Shop of Horrors.
I am surprised no one has name their Duece "Bigalow"
I just picked up my M923A2 from San Marcos today. On the way home my SAG wagon called and said that my brake lights were on all the time. When I got home and turned all switches off the brake lights stay on. Is this a short to voltage?
