Welcome from KC. WM is right. The deuce is lots of fun but sucks as a daily driver. (Especially in a city.) The deuce does it's job well. It was made to go almost anywhere but not quickly. It's power comes from low gearing at low speeds. It can pull the moon aroud the Earth at 1 mph. I love...

I haven't had that happen but it's a good reminder to double check them during the pre-trip.

We have started a small rally at the D-Day Adventure Park in Oklahoma. It is small but more people come each year. As stated above, a good location and getting the word out are key.

Sorry for the late response. I keep the lid off when operating so there's lots of room for air to circulate. I made sure to leave plenty of space between the gear and the case for airflow.

Thick deck is a good thing. The engine may have been rebuilt just because the truck went through the rebuild process. That more of a guess. Someone will know for sure.

Find a public storage or similar with rv parking. I pay less than fifty bucks a month.
