Magnetic plugs are easy to clean. A magnet that's hard to remove/clean would just collect shavings until something gets free and causes damage in my opinion.

Diesel with a couple of quarts of motor oil to lube the injector pump. I also keep some injector cleaner in the tank.

I bought two new mechanisms for my doors and plan to repair the old ones and keep them for spares. I like to install new screws when doing projects like this. (Some of the old ones are semi-stripped anyway.) It seems like the large screws for the door mech. and the small ones for the access...

I believe the bell housing has a 1/4" NPT hole. You also want to remember to install the plug in the bottom of the bell housing before fording and remove it after.

Don't forget the bell housing if you want to pressurize them for the DWFK in the future.

Definitely look for a LDS. A C turbo is nice too. If the engine is complete and in good shape I don't think 1,200 is too much.

I would buy a civi to military harness adapter and put LED tail lights on it. That way when you buy a MV you can still use it wothout a hassle.
