    Dealing with a wreck

Make sure you make a copy of the video in case it gets "lost" after you turn it over to the authorities. I am very pro law enforcement but something is rotten here.

    3 deuce's

For $1200 I'd sure check it out. If it's legit, go for it.

    Tierod failure

Glad everyone is safe. Great work. And don't forget a pic of the old tie rod if you still have it around. Seeing the failure could be useful to someone in the future.

    Getting Diesel Fuel in Oil

I know but it worked for me.

    Getting Diesel Fuel in Oil

Does your truck have a manifold fuel heater? It could be leaking into the manifold then getting into the oil.

Talk me into it (or out)1008

Buy it. You know you want it. It will be so cool to own!

    m35a2 will not reverse

Is your transfer case a Sprag or an airshift? Could it be a mis-adjusted or malfunctioning Sprag? Does it have a switch under the dash that makes a hiss when you flip it?

    My 151 went topless....

A wire cutter on the front would look awesome.

    Downshifting question

Comparing deuces to any civi truck is to compare a locomotive to a pop can. :tank:

    Downshifting question

I downshift. Being at the right speed before shifting into the next lower gear is the key. I can usually double clutch to shift into first but your going so slow anyway, why bother if you are coming to a complete stop. Be careful and practice. If I'm in bumper to bumper traffic I don't bother...

    Hello from Oklahoma

Read through the forums and see what would be best for your situation. CUCV's (pick-ups and Blazers) are cool but the electrical is a little weird. Deuces and 5-tons are great but large and require a few extra conciderations. This site has tons of info. Also look up the Tech Manuals.

    Deuce cook shack

Gather up the needed info and make a plan. A deuce will work great if set up well. Besides, you can't get that C turbo whistle from a kitchen trailer.

    Dealing with a wreck

Glad you are relatively safe. I agree, go to the doctor. You never know what problem might be laying below the surface. If everything is good, then great. If they find something severe you'll be thanking your lucky stars.

    Replacement Deuce

    Congrats.
  16. Flyingvan911

If your turbo blew up what would you replace it with?

It's probably a C turbo but I agree with having a plan B just in case. You'll love the C turbo.

    some 5 tons at work

    Cool.

    Very Modified Deuce

With all that torque you could probably gear it pretty high. Especially with an LDS.

Local boy gearing up to swim DUKW to Portland MVPA

Very cool. I wish I could make a trip like that.

    Won my first trailer. M105A2

You might look at a set of LED taillights for it. They are 12 and 24 volts so you can tow it with the pick up or the deuce with minimal fuss.
