Im still Planning on Comming, most likely bring my kids and my Fifth Wheel as I still do not have my license or that comfortable feeling to drive the Duece that far yet.
If you have not already fixed it. Remember not to run the tap too deep or your fitting may not seat correctly.. The taps can be run in too deep if not careful...Run it in a little, check it with a fitting...repeat.
How does the line usually conected to the elbow in the cap on the MC come into play? Can you just add a tee at that connection and extend the filler line from there. Will the new capacity fill that line that comes into the top of the MC and is it ok to do that?
Yep, Im lucky...good labor is hard to find.
We used STP for cleaning, then oil primer on everything to seal out any military "Gunk" on the interior.
The paint shown is only a tinted primer I was able to use from another project. I am leaning towards a slightly lighter color for the final...
Mabye I will delay running it. It was like opening a time capsule.....Even the rope starters are new in the box. I think I will wrap it back up and shove it in the corner of my garage.
I have not run it yet, But I feel it most likely would, I did rotate the motor, it is very smooth and gets compression. Its a Briggs and Stratton motor so it probably is a gas motor. It is only 250W but I was thinking about using it as you said, basically a gas battery charger.
I have come across a genset in a garage that has been unopened (until now) since 1956. It is in Brand New condition and never run. ALL original paperwork is still attached. Is it worth anything. I dont want to run it until I decide to keep it or not.
Im building a Shelter into a Camper, it...

I was bummed my time ran out.
Looks pretty good, I looked for a camper to fit a duece for a while and never found one that would fit and look right. It seems as though you did.
Put some closer picts up if you have them
The nylon straps are just temporary while I am moving it around the yard. My plans were to make brackets that bolt into the lifting ring provision in the 4 bottom corners and then thru the Bed.
Thanks for the info, I was not sure how it was designed to be attached. Id like to see some...
RE: Duece + Shelter = Camper RV
Havent really driven it other than moving it around the yard, It appears to be shorter than my Fifth Wheel, so I havent been concerned too much yet. It is 68" tall, add that to the deck of the Duece. The picture in the yard is at a pretty good slant, enough to...
RE: Duece + Shelter = Camper RV
M109's seem to have more space to build the interior as an extra 12" in a small space can be a lot.
However, I have a Duece in good condition and dont want to chance mechanical issues in another vehicle. I picked up the shelter for cheap, so in the long...
