    New motor time...

1993 was the last year for the mechanical DB2 injector pump. 1994 and up are the electronic versions and require the computer. A center mounted turbo will not fit without major work to the firewall. The sidemount turbo requires a little creativity with the exhaust pipe. You need to find out...

Solution to my fuel issues - single tank conversion or am I being to simplistic???

Doghead has been posting in this thread from the beginning. He does have an interest in helping the OP fix the issue. You are the one that highjacked the thread with adding all the additional plumbing and pumps. While that is a solution it didn't help the OP solve his problem. The OP never...

My first recovery effort !! Monday 2/10/14... m923a2 battery question !!

Lets see, extremely cold winter and dead batteries. They should be good to go. ;-) Every truck for GL that I have picked up has had 6TLs. Most have been wet cells, a few have been Hawker AGMs. Recovery is not the time to "see" if they are good or not. Take some replacements.

    Rebuilding Alternators

The rebuilding of the alternator is easy as long as you are paying attention to what you are doing. The internal replacement parts are just like a regular alternator. The only difference is the fiber washers for the mounting screws. Inhave rebuilt many of them. First one took a couple of hours...

    Yet another Charging question

Most of the new voltage regulators are set for 14.8v. I would keep an eye on the 14.9v alternator. Remember that the voltage gauge is just a guide. It is not totally accurate. I would run it as is.
