Finally received my SF97 for the deuce today, so I took everything to the Cypresswood Tax Assessor/Collector office and was out of there with my plate and title in less than 30 minutes. I did have to walk the lady through a couple of items, but overall it went a lot easier than I expected...

I've been tempted more than once to cut the forward radius out of the driver's side so I could stop catching my foot on it every time I exit the truck. Maybe I'll just trim it down some.

Got an email yesterday that they needed to confirm that I had the deuce "physically in my possession" before they could complete my SF97. What's that all about? I picked it up a month and a half ago!

I'm definitely interested - could drive up from Houston, easy! I like the idea of an event with more than just trailriding, being a deuce newbie, I'm not sure I'm up to any serious off-roading yet!
