Thanks Guys this is just what I needed now I just need Noah to log on an print the picture. I took them there lots of time when their mom was in the PA guard and had to do her AT's there we would drive there to visit her and camp out in my truck. They were little shavers then and did not...
Man if I was retired that would be a great haul for my M818 but alas it sits at home holding the M127 up. I hope you find someone. I would let you use my dolly but it is in South Carolina with Ferro.
While I was in Leavenworth Kansas in August this truck was parked out back of my hotel for a night and I had to investigate it is licenced to GL for hauling semis and boy would I like to bid on this but it probably will never get into our hands.
It is one sweet truck
For some reason the map on GL does not work for this site and my boys although I took them there many times as young boys do not know where the GL lot is and will be headed up Friday the 10th to pick up my M109 and M1031. Can anyone that is familiar with it post a detailed route description...

Allen:
I have done tours in Iraq, Afghanistan,Bosnia and now my second time in Korea and you have not offended anyone this is a wonderful site to help you recover from the injuries and so many great folks on this site are amazing. You have got to get to a rally sometime...
An average of $4.00 per gallon too that is what pinched my wallet driving the M818 up from Baton Rouge. I am planning on making some trips like this but will be looking at alternate fuels I am hoping to collect a lot get them refined and store them in my 400 gallon trailer that I will tow with...
I think i may be back and we have Aaron the Slow working this sale.I am glad it finally came in because my sons are picking up my two trucks at Fort Indiantown Gap on the morning of the 10th and then hopefully head up to Rauch Creek.
Wow this is a great thread excellent engineering and work and I too like Clint would love to see this baby in the womb without an ultrasound. (I am pro life)
Have you thought about boxing the frame rails at a few points like were the clamps are and other critical spots?
I think you will be able to pull it home empty but they are heavy. We used to put two M113's on them or four artillery guns even two dueces. It is amazing what you can do with a company of 120 trailers like this and 61 Tractors. It will be slow going up hill for sure. The side boards are...
Wow this is too cool I would like a field piece to haul behind my duece as pictured in that one shot. I guess we will have to vote in the right folks who understand an upright citzen with a gun is a good thing. I love your pictures and though I have many friends from Poland in my church I have...
I spent 38 months as a platoon leader and three years as a commander of trasportation companies that used these trailers. They are great and you will love it. Are the sideboards in the racks underneath? The trailer is heavy and the M818 will struggle with it because the prime mover for this...
Its a deuce check it out well and drive it slow it will get you home. Take a credit card and ear protection and if you have it a uniform to drive in it just feels right driving in uniform with the old gal wearing the same thing.
RE: Re: RE: Steel Soldiers 2009 Florida Rally... Its on!
Well if the Army makes me retire in March of next year I may just be getting on my terminal leave and may make it down wow that would be cool. Especially since Maryland in February is no Florida. Oh yeah this is not a hiest of the...
We camp on the top of our M101 with the hard top it is double 3/4 plywood and I built a ladder on the front. Right now it is locked up storing my winches and tools till I get home it will be my tow behind for the M1031.
That is my situation right now, 9,000 miles away two trucks to pick up and registration to renew on the M1009. I am waiting for the EUC to come back from Aaron the slow to get them insured and the boys will be wearing my uniforms to pick them up no doubt. They should compensate us with a no...
Praying that my sons will be coming they have to pick up my two trucks at Anneville on Friday morning so I told them park them and head up with the M1009. My son's Jeep is not running well and he complained about the power in the Blazer being poor. I told him put it in low range and have fun...
My pick up due date is looming and the sale that closed a week earlier is still out there holding up the recovery of both trucks together. They should offer some incentive for late work and offer better and longer pick up options.
