That said, why not just build custom rims? It's easy enough. Heck, I'll sell you stock 2 deuce centers for $40+shipping when I pull them off my buggy. :)

You know, that looks just like the type of square u bolt you'd find on a leaf spring. If you can't get a stock/used or NOS handle, I bet a spring shop could bust one of those out for you for $10 or so. It's a little smaller than you'd normally find on a truck, but it's the size threaded stock...
Where I am, GL1 is some spendy juice. I found some Caterpillar lube that's yellow metal safe (that's the most important criterion) and rings in about 45 bucks for the 5 gallon pail. Of course, my tranny (6855) is a big thirstier than your standard deuce tranny, but still.

BTW I just checked in, too. I have the 24v external pump from Saturn surplus. Thing runs like a champ. It's a bit noisy, so when you mount it, put some insulative washers inline with the fastners, else your bed (the underside of which is where you pretty much want to mount it) will rattle like...
