yep that would do it and is a common occurance on deuces. I would periodically check all driveshaft bolts.

whar size tubes did you put in those monsters? They look extra sweet!

fender may have been hacked because it started life as a non turbo or a gasser.

what kind of speed can you reasonably get out of a goat on the road? How's the ride quality?

May seem like a silly question but here goes. Is there any chance of making a goat road legal in any state. Thought it would look pretty cool rolling through town.

I experienced this hopping at takeoff in one of my other deuces some time back. It was pretty simple to diagnose. I pulled the flywheel -took it to work and machined it flat. They do tend to warp a little overtime. Take offf after machining was smooth from there on.

Well I finally got done with media blasting the deuce. I'll post some pics tomorrow-too tired rite now. Was planning on going back in 24087 vietnam colors but kind of grew to like the color scheme that was on the truck when I bought it at GL. Guess I'll be going back in 24087 but was curious...
