I would think he would not even get the lifeboat for running into a pier. We used to just stick it in the ice and walk off over the ice to the dock. I did the special sea detail helm work and believe me some of the tricks you need to know to steer one of those things are incredible. Single...
Wow:
I kinda thought that a dirt bike would not like constant running. I have owned six bikes and walking miles with a flat rear tire is no fun. Chain adjustment with a leatherman can get dicey I hope that the bike will be repairable and thank God for friends. Please give him our regards
I rowed in to the Coast Guard Festival in Grand haven in a life boat from the CGC Acacia back in 1978. The festival was a blast and I still have some fond memories of the girls in the miss Coast Guard contest they held.
Glad that you had the duece there it looks great
RE: Re: RE: Another Picture found
Is that truck original dual wheels or super singles?
Did you get a permit for that mud because you need to photo copy it and send it to Maddog
Wow if I was not on the east coast that would really be sweet sounds like a road trip. Are those the original size wheels that the tires are mounted on? Do you have to lift the M818 to allow them to fit and what about wheel spacing between the duals? Sorry just trying to figure if this is...
Looking Very nice. My eyes must be getting old cause I could not read the tire size is it 1400 20? Are they available on the commercial tire market? Or where did you get yours?
I put tons of miles in M915's and the 400 cummins is a runner. If you find one with the Allison transmission that thing should go a long way between failures. The higher number series with live front axle are beasts and you would have a great truck if you do what you are saying and scrapping...
That is a fine deal and you should have no problems keep the RPM down it is a truck and they like to drive under 55. I would keep my eyes on the gauges and make sure you do a complete fluids check before heading out. Take a Credit Card because you will be buying fuel and maybe more. Discover...
Wow Twins for your first kids... nice. I have to say if it is a fuel leak wait till the thing cools before working on it I had to change a return line on an old Detroit V8 and nearly vomited repeatedly from the fuel pissing on the hot engine. That should be an easy fix and if you take pictures...
Thanks Kenny I can't wait to get back and start attending rallies again. I am gonna head down to one of your Florida ones for sure even if I have to ride my bicycle. I have so much work to do to fix up all of my trucks since the war started back in 2001 I have not had much time at home. It...
That is a great looking truck. I had an 84 K2500 Suburban that I hated to get rid of since I am 6'4" and the newer ones got smaller in 91. I know one of our members has a mililitary make over Burb he had it at Aberdeen in 2007. I really like you truck.
I found chunks in a Ford 351 Windsor and when I dropped the pan holy cow it was bad. New engine was installed. Can't see one of those coming off without some serious damage to the liner, piston and crank. Good luck and pictures are really helpful when asking for help.
I know Marksgarage is not far away you might want to PM him. I picked up my M127 from them and if I still had the number I bet the NCO that runs the lot would take a picture for you and give you a quick run down on the condition. They were very good to me when I was there.
