You need to add a resistor 3 to 6 ohm 50w between the power to bulb and ground to mimic a bulbs resistance to make it flash. so 1 resister per side if memory serves me right.
I see what your concern is. I had already machined mine down on the other beval so thats why mine doesnt sit out . I did it before i installed them so I didnt think about it anymore after the fact. It still doesnt change the fact that at least on a rear mount its a proven system.
My counter sink across the flat is .2 wide .so it is a large 1.Also if you really think about it the large tractors like my m920 are the same way in the rears . Tire than bud nut , then next tire, then big nut. They have been building trucks with the tires mounted like that for who knows how...
It doesn't on mine . Mine had a countersink enough that it doesn't. Been running them for a few months that way and no problems.I'll have to read the other threads and see whats different with theres ?
Awe NDT , I took a new 200 amp unit and had it reworked without the transformer so it internally does 70 amp 24v and 130 amp 12V . then we use a battery equilizer to balance things out . I'll take pic's of that install shortly. It probably in the long run been cheaper to do a new 12V unit .But...
