I'm Glad this helped Eldgen !! I have noticed alot of trucks don't have this Mod , And with filling 3 air tanks and having air brakes and air shift I see it as a must have. Its unreal how fast the truck will build air going down the road under boost when it has a little help from the turbo ;-)
on the A3 they have air over hydraulic or air assist braking. its a dual master cylinder set up so if 1 of the systems fail you still have brakes to stop.
I can't answer for the Unimogs ( never been in 1 ) but I'm very impressed with the capabilitys of my A3 its been a great truck so far. It would seem the unimog would offer more ground clearance than the A3 and probably a tighter turning radius as well.
The A2 I saw it done on had a upgraded power steering so it didn't use the 1 peice unit. It was closer to the 5 ton set up and used a aftermarket box. Sorry if I made it sound like you could do it to all A2s . But were there is a will there is a way ;-)
My m816 floats in the air when no 1 is looking:shock: , LOL I have always turned of my ignition switch off first then the main power. and have nothing burned up or damaged to show for it. My m813 is well grounded. Must be the bigger tires. :)
Its the air vent hose so the air can escape from the oppissite side of the piston, when the oppissite side is under pressure. They run it to the air filter so it doesnt get water or dirt down in the piston so it cant damage it.
