    deuce almost done

What rims are you using now? If they work for 14.00s they should work for 395s.

    Drop Deck Trailer

I think a mulifuel could work as long as you kept the towed load under 30,000#, didn't expect many hills, and didn't plan on going anywhere fast.

    M872 34 ton flatbed trailer

There have been several M872s coming out of Fort Riley. They are usually stripped of all accessories. Has anyone ever seen any with side boards like these?

    Drop Deck Trailer

I believe max height allowed without permits is 13'6". With most 2.5 & 5 tons in the 9-10' range, you would close with a 40" deck height.

    Drop Deck Trailer

Nice looking setup you have there. The M108 doesn't look too high. What is the total height? 13-14'?

    Manhattan Auction

Yeah, go for it! Got any pics of the PLS setup you found? Did you end up buying it? Is it part of the poor mans HEMTT?

How big is a bridge truck?

Yeah, that truck does get around. Kansas City was quite the trip. It convinced me I needed a bigger truck & trailer.

    Drop Deck Trailer

I need (want) a good trailer to haul around a couple of MVs. I haven't found any military trailer that is well suited for the application, but commercial ones are always so expensive. I saw this one on ebay recently and got outbid. I think it is perfect setup for hauling just about anything...

Size difference betweem 1100 20 and 900 20 NDCC tires

Once you upgrade to 11.00s, you will never want to go back. 9.00s start to look small after a while......

How big is a bridge truck?

I was going through some old pictures and I found this one taken at a rest area along the interstate. It is good shot that gives some perspective. Compare the M812 to the 4 door, 1 ton 4x4 dually behind it or the semi truck in the pic. The bed on a bridge truck is about 6 feet in the air...

    Swapping transmission on the Hemtt...

    M543A2 for sale

Anyone need a wrecker? I found this M543A2 for sale in Northern Oklahoma. Pros: Starts right up Towbar, wiffle tree, field spades (2 sets), oxy & acy bottles included Cons: Multifuel, not cummins Clutch needs some work, front winch lead needs replaced (included) $9000

    2.5T, 5T, what do I need?

RE: Re: 2.5T, 5T, what do I need? BTW, ditto on the trailer idea. Assuming you want something to haul your "offroad jeep" down the road, a military truck might not be your best option. Why not just a pickup and car trailer?

    2.5T, 5T, what do I need?

If you want a cummins, then you will be looking for an M809 series 5 ton. The XLWB model is M814. If you single the tires, you should go 14R20 not 14.5R20. The M814 is not a real common model so you might have to look hard to get a good one. If you can settle for a mutlifuel with less...

    flat towing question

I do believe there are different towing procedures (according to the -10) depending on whether you have a sprag or air-shift transfer.
