Forgive me for this may be more a 5 tonner question, but I know some of you fella's and trust your opinions.
I need a crane to move some heavy equipment and assemble log cabins; I have found a 12 ton crane in Wis. but have also been considering the following truck...
My last post with Recovery 4x4 on his trip through GA gave me an idea I would like to share...
What if we had a section or just a thread where members posted contact info. which could be printed (catagorized by State) and carried on a roadtrip? That way if anyone had a breakdown or other...
One way to save money on concrete, but still have the strength, would be to put down a layer of gravel. Does two things, provides a good base for the concrete to bind with and also allows drainage since water is the biggest enemy of any floor or foundation.....
Well, I feel better... actually did look at the truck....it cranked and ran but was not allowed to move it. There will be others...
As a matter of fact, got my present truck from Joe and have never regretted it....just wish he had the opportunity to buy and sell like he did in the 90's...
I bid this truck up to 3.5k; it sold for over 4k....with bidders percentage and sales tax the price will be close to 5k....

Did I miss a great truck or got out just in time?
Really nice looking tipper....
Curious, does the dump have any different spec.s on GVWR than the standard cargo truck? Is it 5k offroad and 10k on road?
Thanks for the pics. Great looking mogs. Have you owned mogs before? I am really interested in them and would like to hear your opinion; performance offroad, driveability, etc.
Hey guys, I am not a Hummer owner but I noticed deep water fording kits for Hummers coming up for auction on GL.

More than one set
My ten year old son had told his friends about the "deuce" and they did not believe him.......so the teacher agreed we could bring it for show and tell....
Let the kids crawl all over it (bet the moms weren't too happy about the grease stains :jumpin: ), but the kids loved it. Even had some...
I agree with Redneck; most people could not start and/or drive a deuce if their life depended on it!
I have a battery kill switch which serves two purposes: prevents battery drain if any of my adds ons are left on or ground out; and keep kids from leaving on the switch or accidently starting...
Think it matters as to the type of base.... I have been on some installations where you were limited to the item you signed in to see.....
But in Anniston AL, once you get passed the initial screening, they let you look at anything you want.... Some bases are "disposal centers" while others...
Having only bought trucks from DRMO and never from GL, I don't know much about that subject; however, the reference truck may not be too high. Deuces and 5 tons are sought after equipment in the commercial world. If that deuce is basically new and will not need replacement parts, will be...
:jumpin: M35A2 with 465-D does not want to idle. I have to set the manual throttle at 1000 rpms to keep it running.......Even then, if it idles very long then it dies! Otherwise, the truck has good performance..power..
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hey Guys, I am a newbie to modifying a deuce though I work a M35A2 as a dump truck offroad. I am looking to purchase another deuce as a road truck for hauling lumber from the mill to job sites (presently use the dump for building roads, hauling logs, etc). The second deuce will be on the...
