ya one could sleep in the back of a bobbed m109 but 10 can sleep in a regular one.try telling your wife and family they have to sleep outside on the ground cuz you couldnt handle driving a real truck .if you want a 4x4 camper just buy a ford chevy or dodge and get a slide in camper

10 at idle is within spec for these motors 25 at 2000rpm would be low .thats crazy they did that on these trucks being they wanted inter changabilty .posts like this are very helpful to open our eyes to some of the things they did that you wouldnt normally think of:?:

i get 14mpg with my m35a2c pulling my m105 show me a bobber that does that.the army made a few tested them and decided not to use any they went with the 6x6 deuce .

a shorter wheel base will ride worse on the highway .but i have never seen anyone bob a m109 and make a camper out of it.sounds like a great idea maybe if you make it shorter you can just sleep standing up rather than sleeping in the beds that would fit in the bed of the m109.not:roll:

but if you want easy to drive why not just get a honda. it just always kills me to see it happen to some poor unnsupecting deuce .getting its man parts removed has got to ruin its self esteam.i just mean they are so less capable than a 6x6.they dont stop as good they dont carry a load as good...

after it leaked down no more leak i added to the engine oil and it started leaking again .the trans maintained the same level as it was when i started the 700 mile trip.i believe the drain back hole for the rear seal is located pretty low .and when the engine gets over filled even just a quart...

yes you need to run an additive in winter the fuel from the pump is number 2 and have lots of oil in the form of waxs that gel easily.and you need to drain the primary filter every so often to check for water .i would do this to see how much water you get from it .to see how much water is in...

i just dip my truck in mud to wash off the oil on the engine.ussuallly have to do it repeatedly till i get a nice protective coating of mud on the engine and surrounding areas:roll:then if i want to see green again i use my pressure washer and some gunk

thats not sticking out of the turbo its the draft tube an ussually it has a hose on it that runs in dowm past the axle .unless the truck has a fording kit then it is run back to the air cleaner.
