I ran a 8ga wire from the front batt. pos. to the GP relay (12v) and removing the 24v wire coming off the resister to the relay. then i ran a 14ga. wire from the blue wire on the relay to a push button then push button to ground. when i push the button there is no wait light due to the bypass...
I think before you start ordering stuff you should do some trouble shooting as per the TM manual glow plug section. A stop using Ether there alot of threads on here of people destroying there engines. Also i wouldnt go cheap on the glow plugs alot of people use the AC60g and are happy your...
My m1009 does the same thing but i think thats the way it is. It runs great and gets up to speed (65mph) no problem
but if you push the throttle down suddenly it wont make any power. if i ease into it will make plenty of power.
I suspect a I.P. rebuild in the future though i had a liitle debris...
Thats what i did. I have AC Delcos 60G plugs with the bypass to a push button works ok.I push the button 3 times 3 sec. each and it fires up everytime. do a search on this also theres a lot of info. I searched and read on this site for a week before i did the manual push button job
I went with the hurculiner and im overall happy i got the job done in about 12 hrrs and then let it cure all night. I used a 4" wire brush and grinder to prep it and then wiped it down a few times then put 2 coats on. I had a RHINO liner on my Z-71 and it tore on me but i got it repaired for...
jholler,
Mines the same way no problems. Its pretty simple if im going in the woods i fold the antenna all the way over. if im on the open road i slack the 550 cord off.
Yeah I understand the concern. But it's what ever they want. I had made up my own #'s at first and called DMV and told them what I had and what I was about to send in and the lady on the phone said no I don't think so and asked her supervisor and then she told me what #s to put on the truck...
I just did the research on this page and bought the AB-15 base the MS-116-117-118 off eBay about $100. The total length of all this was over 120" so I read 106-110" was good so I cut my to 108" and checked the SWR reading on my CB and it's all good I'm am very happy with the look and it seems to...
4x4 Forever
Wow!! Thats crazy. Yesterday it was 2-Calcasieu and 1-state trooper the trooper followed me for 3 miles I just knew he was going to pull me over but he didn't. But yeah I have all paper work valid to be on the road so I'm not worried just don't want to get harrased. But everything...
This is great info. I just intalled a Cobra Classic 29 and the fender mount with a AB-15 base and the MS-116-117-118 and cut it down to a total of 108 inches im getting a good signal i had not not tested the ranges yet but i think my SWR is
1:1.3 its on my M1009
Well i read alot of manuals and called my DMV special plate division and now its all done the picture is the final product. The DMV really only wanted the first 7 Digits of the VIN stencil in 2" letters in white or yellow i tried to make up my own numbers but that didnt work. I had three cops...
Drilling holes is totally up to you I just sat it behind The seat in my M1008 as you can see in my M1009 it's mounted on my homemade center console on my 2007 F-150 Harley truck it's professionally installed and drilled in on the back wall theoretical you want to get some air flow to your amp to...
heres my new 2.5 in lift with 31s with 10.5 in rims. i got it barely used at my buddies offroad shop he said it was Superlift but i thought superlift only really had 3.5-5.5" for our model of trucks oh well what ever it is i like it and it handles alot better
As you can see i have the remote the stereo ground and stereo memory tied into the AMP lugs.
Are you can bring a 14 ga. wire for your memory straight to the diamond shape juction box on the firewall if you dont want to do it that way
This is my new stereo install very straight forward and easy and sounds great.
I ran the stereo power to the 12v source in the fuse box checking it with the voltmeter with ignition on and off then took the ground and memory wire for the stereo and wired in into the amp power and ground at the...
I ran my radio power from the 12v in the fuse box and ran the memory wire to the 6ga power wire for the amp which is ran directly the the front batt pos the memory is tied in to the amp I don't expect it to draw alot of power and it's been working[thumbzup]
Looks good. I painted my entire interior with the dupont vinyl black paint I like it seems to work and stick well
