In 2001 when my unit at Ft Hood got them we kept the Deuces for a year after. Someone finally came to the motor pool to look for the trucks we were supposed to turn in. We were forced to let them go kicking and screaming.
That is the biggest issue, my wife rides center and my kid on the side in a car seat. It couldn't block her feet. I actually had her sit in it before i bolted everything down just to make sure she had plenty of room.

I am having a **** of a time removing the housing from the primary fuel filter. I have read up on it and I can't find anywhere you can get a 1 inch wrench on. I have tried spinning the whole body off and broke my filter wrench trying. Is there something I am missing? I can see where it would...
I never thought of using that pump. I just broke my hand pump I connected to a cement mixing drill after about 600 gallons. I am going to prob mimic your setup.
I was only given 7 good ones (one had a deep gash in it) so 6+ spare is all I had. If I had the money for more I would but these are way over rated for the truck as it is.
Finished up the job and took it for a ride. The difference is AMAZING. I didn't know tires could effect the way a truck could move like that. Steering is one finger, gets to speed a heck of a lot quicker, and just rides and handles like it was a different vehicle.
