any tips on how to "button up" a vehicle in need of intensive work so that it won't be worse a couple of years down the line when I have the time/money to deal with it?
doing a little bit of plumbing on my deuce's breathers and have a question...
If I plumb into the air filter housing would I be connecting to a low pressure area? (bad enough to pull gear oil out)
Obviously it would be worse on the turbo side(inside) of the filter as opposed to the mushroom...
since we all know ace is busy (in bed reading a -10....) Does anyone know where I could find new brake hardware? I think I will replace it when I flip hubs.
how "loose" should the C shaped clips that secure the bottom of the brake shoes be? they were tough to get off, but now I can easily put them on & take them off w/o tools???

I just got the front axle apart(not touching the chunk today) and the driver's side of the housing was at least half full of grease behind the oil seal. anyone seen this before? I have a sneaking suspicion that this is why the vent is fouled up. :roll:
