I've seen that before, some hack changed out the joint and couldn't get the C clip back in so out came the MIG. Find a used replacement or have the shaft rebuilt, rebuilding isn't that expensive.

I've used it, works good but splatters a LOT, shake well then shake some more, when you think your done shaking shake for bit more because the tip clogs easily! Also works great on exhaust pipes to keep them rust free.

When removing the old bolts I don't even try to unscrew them, just cut or tighten till they break. It's a PIA when you get them a bit loose and the they slip and start spinning then ya gotta figure a way to push them into the hole and hold them there.
