May stay with the SRW setup.
I thought this CUCV-II Crew Cab would look cool as a Dually after I do a three camo paint job.
I still looking for parts.
Found this 1997 dually axle for $200 with tires and its close by.(see pictures)
Looking at maybe changing out the rear axle on the 2000 CUCV-II, Crew Cab.
The left side axle shaft is missing and not sure if the axle is good or bad. I’ll be pulling it apart just to see but want other options just in case.
Thinking of making this into a dually if it is an easy swap. If it is...
Florida9,
Glad you got it fixed.
I know it was a pain to do with all the rain and working outside in your apartment complex.
Take some pictures of your truck if you can.
Yes, a data base of some kind would be nice.
I had a lot of SS members PM me with their location or cell numbers if I needed help between FL and CA. Steel Soldiers are a great bunch of guys/girls. Thanks again.

I'm about 1 hour south of you. I could have it in West Palm Beach on Tuesday to get it closer to you.
I have three brake controllers in my M1028A2 dually, M1028 pickup, and my CUCV-II.
Cost me around $39 to $55 for the controller and can't remember the price for the 7 pin connectors.
On the CUCV's I had to run a blue wire from the controller to the rear 7 pin connector(trailer brakes) and a...
I always had a problem with the passenger side battery not charging. The volt gage was always at the yellow/green mark. I thought it was at the battery terminals. After replacing the blown fuses in the inverter behind the seat, all is good.
Gage is now in the "Green"
