Finally mounted the last 4 wheels ,Which I must say isn't a 1 man job. But I did it anyway! Hopefully this weekend they will actually be on the truck!!
I was actually wondering the same thing, I figured it was some kind'of vent tube but wasn't sure. SO if it was there and the truck ran fine, I wasn't going to worry about it, besides I got the rest of my tires today, so today is a good day! AS is every day I wake up!!!!
I have to admit I have felt the same way as Moosecnally, Even when I asked a few questions that TM's didn't have the answer to, although in the questions I wasn't steered to the TM's, but I also understand hard love. I have felt that many, many, many times in my life.I don't know what the answer...
I recently bought some wheels and tires from jcappeljr and the deal couldn't have gone any better for me! I say for me, because I set the transporter up to be at his place at 8:00am, but the truck didn't show up until 7:00pm. I really have to give this guy 2 thumbs up for the great sale and...
I was going to drill the air inlet boss through to the other side of the wheel ,tap and install the nozzle on the interior side of the wheel so I could flip them around for mounting on the rear axles.
ke5eua: I did not, I found out that these are the wrong wheels for my truck. SO i'm looking...
I really would like to attend, since I was in Florida during the spring rally. Those dates aren't good for me. Would anyone be interested in going Oct 9-12 ?
CSM Davis; What info should I supply? All I want to do is put these 14.00R20's on my 84' M923. The factory wheel is definitely a bud.
TOPO; The large center hole is 8.5/8" on both the wheel and the diameter of the hub.
juanprado; I believe that is exactly what has happened ,as to why...
Okay, I have more newbie questions! I do apologize for all the questions, but I need the pro's help again.
What kind of rim do I need exactly? I know it's a bud/stud pilot wheel
Why would I have to change my hubs?
If I bought the correct bud wheels, is there anything else to do besides...
I will admit I had no clue what the difference between hub/stud piloted wheels was. After the explanation from a few members, I went to talk with a mechanic at work. I finally was able to speak with him today. I really trust this guy. He not only explained it to me (again) but also showed me the...
As some of yall know I have 4 aluminum wheels that will go on the 5 ton at the end of next week when I get the final 3 wheels and after testing to make sure that everything is up to snuff.I have already done a couple tests to see what the thread size, depth, hole diameter, drill size, metal to metal...
I have one skid of tires that needs picked up from Delta,PA ,forklift loaded (from the ground) onto the trailer from the seller. Delivered to Enon,OH I don't have anything to unload at my residence, but I'm trying to "borrow" a dock at where I work in Springfield,OH. If so I can unload the skid...
I got that, in my previous post I also mention that I would take pictures of the mounting the conversion and anything else that comes up with it(referring to test mounting removal of the air inlet drilling and tapping the opposite side).gringel;there was one other person that stated that these...
