There aren't any 1/2" drive impact wrenches that will remove the average lug nut that has spent more than a few days tightened to spec.
I bought this one 1" Pneumatic Impact Wrench when it was on sale for $219.99 plus tax. It will remove pretty much any bolt, or nut, either that, or twist it...
Mine is that quick when it is already warm from being run just a couple minutes earlier.
The air buzzer did not sound, so I am guessing the engine was warm, and the oil had not drained back. Just a thought!
My kids made me go bold! But I can see how the deuce could do it to a man. Just kidding!
I have had many cuts working on MV's, looks like it smarts a little.
Yes it is possible, but you will need to find a used or new exhaust with bolts and hangers, C or D turbo as well as clamps and whatnot to convert it over. You are looking at $500-$1,000 for everything plus labor if you plan on having it done for you.
Nice truck!
I would think that between the winch and the license plate the truck would run a little warm down it that part of the world. Have you drove the truck much in hot weather with the license plate covering the radiator?
This guy is armed to the hilt. He routinely does target practice with many old military weapons from around the world. His buddy tried to sell to me a pull behind 50 for $12,000. I declined as I thought it was extremely high.
I was talking to a friend that runs filtered WMO in his 2 1/2 ton M35A2
He went out a couple weeks ago to drive it after it sit all winter, only to find the fuel tank was 1/2 full instead of full as it had been when he parked it in October.
I would love to have seen what it went into, and see...
I do not believe that the hitch will hold up well at all. The receiver should run through not under or over the cross tubing. It it twist under a load.
This is the way it needs to be! (My opinion!)
Not the best picture, but the receiver tube goes through not one but two cross tubes. (One at...
Are you thinking of doing it this way? Or do you want to get rid of everything and start it with a key like just about every other vehicle made these days.
Whenever a thermocouple is installed before turbo, make sure you never allow the temperature to exceed about 1,000* as this placement is not the reccomended spot, and will read 300* +- lower than if it were installed in the manifold. (Which it the ideal place.)
Went over to Kipman's farm and spent money! (Do go there, he will sell you something!)
We had a great time catching up on old times and whatnot!
This is what I added to my deuce this weekend.
Add 250-400* to the numbers if it before the turbo. I don't know why anyone would go that route, after turbo in the manifold is the only place it should go.
Maybe I will read the entire thread in the future before posting.
There is a very real possibility of grenadeing the turbo with those kinds of boost numbers! They very old designed turbos are not meant to see boost like the news pickup truck diesels.
But it isn't my money, so have fun until it goes boom.
Looks fun. I think an M36 would be perfect for a crew cab. Remove the 17' bed replace it with a 12 footer, a crew cab and the spare tire between the cab and bed.
I may be selling my Michelin 11.00's on stock rims 7 (Seven) total with probably 75% tread, but I have to wait til I get my 4" lift and 395's. I am hoping that all happens before Haspin 2011.
If you are interested let me know than we can talk price. But not here, as that is what the...
