I think the truck is reasonably priced, especially considering the location, accessories, and condition.

Here is the M35 with 46" Michelin XML 395/85R20 tires. Previous pic of M36 was 46" Michelin XL Pilote 15.5R20 tires.

They will fit. The M36 truck runs offroad at over 30,000# GVW when full. We did notch the bed to allow movement of the axles, just in case. With a normal payload, you should be fine.

Try looking on www.pirate4x4.com. I'm sure a 6 lug rock to 8 lug has been addressed by the 4x4 guys.

Power steering (or power assist) and better tires are 2 of the more common upgrades. A couple of brands of lockers are also available for about $500.

I have traded 6 lug double beadlock rims for 5 ton double beadlock rims before. I have 2 new 5 tons I need to single out. I'm interested in trade or purchase.

Good thought, but I'd like to keep the beadlock capability if possible. Do you know where I can get the o-rings?

Does anyone know of a source for 5 ton two-piece beadlock rim parts? I need new o-rings and valve stems.

Here are some pics, as requested. These are military takeoffs. Rims are 8 bolt two piece with runflats and tires are bias 36x12.5x16.5. Two inch spacers used on each hub and 2" inch lift and fender trim was done by prior owner. I plan to run the 12 bolt two piece rims with 37" radials on...

I only run 2" spacers on the M1008. Of course 2" per side is 4" total.
