There have been several M812s offered for sale in Indiana recently. I have seen prices from $3750 to $7500. The bigger tires lead to more road speed. Other than that, it should run the same as any M809.

They run the 46s on the FMTV (2.5ton and the 5 ton.)

The only engines in the M816 were Cummins. You must have found an older multifuel, probably 60s vintage.

To run desplined axles shafts on an axle with a detroit locker, would you need lock out hubs on both sides?

Hey Rizzo, it looks like you are running Goodyear AT-2A 16.00R20 tires on the front and Michelin XZL 16.00R20 tires on the back. Is that correct? How are the 16s working out? With the taller tires, do you still have enough reach with the outriggers?
