Bobed truck, will 16.00 20's fit

    Sweet work there JT.

    Yet another big tire thread.

I'm not sure there is a 12.50x20 NDCC, but it would be the same size as 12.5R20, plus or minus. Are you asking about 12.00x20 NDCC? I doubt they would work too well. Stay with 9.00x20 or 11.00x20 in duals. For more road speed, go to singles.

    Yet another big tire thread.

I think I have seen a pic of a stock decue with 12.5R20 duals. They may *fit*, but probably not the best setup with minimal room between duals. Definitely no chance of dual 395s. If you want duals, I would stick to 9.00x20 or maybe 11.00x20.

continental vs. cummins .... 5 ton vs. deuce for fire truck

RE: continental vs. cummins .... 5 ton vs. deuce for fire t 1. More power with the cummins 240HP. 2. 5 ton and 2.5 ton offroad; double for onroad use (conservative military estimate) 3. 50-55MPH max road speed unless you go with bigger tires 4. Tractors (M52, M818) have the best...

    Which tred pattern?

For some reason, people seem to like the XLs better. My preference is the XZL or XML tread pattern.

    Super Singles Pic

Well maybe they are 14.5R20. Your earlier posts indicated those had a different bead, so I wasn't sure. I think the backspacing is probably 6" if it is the same design as mine. I like the lockout hubs on the 1st and 2nd axle. Nice paint and winch too! Here is what 15.5R20 looks like...

    Super Singles Pic

Here is another pic from Daniel's website. I'm not sure what the tires are but they look like either 11.00R20 XL or 12.5R20 XL. It is a great looking deuce!

    Super Singles Pic

I sold the two extra sets I had and kept two sets for myself. Try Stazworks and let us know how it goes. I think they charge $335 now, but not sure if that includes the beadlock. I do have 2 M35A3 wheels with 14.5R20 tires if anyone is interested. If not, I'm going to wait for 2 more rims...

    wheel spacers

Try these instead... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WHEELS-SPACERS-ADAPTERS-8-Lug-Dodge-Dually-Ford-Chevy_W0QQitemZ140017587942QQihZ004QQcategoryZ42614QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I never could understand why they are so much more than the metric studs.

    wheel spacers

For what application? Don't you need 9/16" studs for the CUCV not metric?

    FIRE DEPT BRUSH TRUCK

You do realize that the M1008 and M1028 are basically 84-86 Chevrolet 1 ton 4x4 pickups right? Try http://www.roscommonequipmentcenter.com/ for recommendations on a 150 gallon tank....

    FIRE DEPT BRUSH TRUCK

Another key difference is the front axle locker on the M1028. Very desirable for off road conditions.

    M1008 Fuel Mileage (vs 1009)

Re: RE: M1008 Fuel Mileage (vs 1009) If you run larger tires, you impact the reading of your speedometer. If you run larger tires, do you also impact the reading of your odometer??? If your tire diameter is 15% larger, then aren't you traveling 15% faster and 15% farther with the same...
