    Our "new" M882

Want to sell? no, but everything has its price. I'd need $8,000 to part with it, Northern Michigan to North Carolina at 55mph and 8 mpg with a tailwind. That could be a long and expensive drive, lol

M1028 frame stiffening idea, yay? or nay?

Crawl under and look at the rear cab mounts, those tall rubber things flex alot giving the illusion of greater frame flex at the gap between bed & cab.

New to the world of 6.2

My son picked up an 82 Chevy PU with a J code 6.2. It has fuel tank issues and was running out of a gallon jug on the floor board  Well it ran low sucked air & stalled. (prior to this it had been started about a half dozen times over a couple hours. This beast does not have a lift pump...

    M880 radiator,

Trans cooler is in the bottom tank and only gets cooled to the temp of the coolant or warmed to the temp of the antifreeze in the winter. You could add an auxillary trans cooler but keep the fluid running through the radiator also.

    M880 radiator,

IIRC the difference in the water pumps is std - 5 vanes A/C - 7 vanes Externally the same. a 2 core just cools slower than a 3 core, so stay out of the desert and you should be fine.

Michigan MVPA 3rd Annual Oscoda Show & Swap Aug 16-17, 2013 Wurtsmith AFB

Not a dilemma, it's a choice. A choice I really don't have, this will be the 1st time I miss the Clare show in over a dozen years. The Oscoda show date was determined last fall by the Wurtsmith Air Museum's Fly In. The Clare show has been on the 3 different weekends in August, It had been the...

    M886 NOS rear doors

Because over the years, every time I saw a set, all but once they were M1010 doors. The only difference is the M886 doors have a threaded hole that the M1010's didn't, for the longer middle hinge of the M880. Here's a pic of mine
