Curved bracket mounts to the frame and to the fender on 809 series 5-Tons and is the rear bracket of the set up. The heater box sits atop this bracket. The curved portion wraps around that big @$$ muffler. I had to change my muffler out a few months ago. I don't have experience with Deuce...
Bought a full set of cab seals (windows, doors, cowl, etc) from Erik's. Fairly decent price. He has individual seals also. Check 'em out.

Is that museum at or near the Hayes Truck Museum also in Woodland, CA? I have been to Hayes and have seen that very same FWD. Has been some years though.

I showed my son the first pics and he said "That's a piece of junk." I replied...
WillWagner and I pulled my injectors and the o-rings were all flattened out. Fuel can pass into the rocker boxes past bad o-rings and mix with the lube oil. Replacing the o-rings helped out.

When I was a teenager all the kids wanted fancy BMW's and the like. All I wanted to do was show up to school driving a Deuce. The closest I got was a '72 IH Scout.
