If you had a F450 or F550 with a gooseneck and flat road the M915 weights 19,630 LBS the trailer electric brakes could do the stopping for you . another concern is height is 114.63 over the horns since your stack is missing.
If you were only traveling flat land then your F350 would have a fighting chance to pull it. The real problem is there is no way your F350 will be able to stop it . The F350 doesnt have air brakes so you can't use the glad hands.and the M915 doesnt have electric brakes to feed from your F350.
If you go to your auction pictures and blow up picture 14 and look at the lower right corner you will see 1 of the starter cables hanging in the breeze and appears to be no starter. There hard to miss ! lol there about 18 inches long and 5 to 6 inches in diameter and weight between 65 and 70 lbs
Well at least its out ov VA ! Its Great Krall was able to get it from there. Maybe another SS member heading west with a empty trailer going to pick up something from the west can bring it closer to you ?
I have both detailed pictures of the battery layout and I can give you a diagram. It actually was the same on my M813 as well . It looks like you may be missing a few jumpers that go between the batteries. Its hard to tell from the pic's PM me your E mail and I'll forward you the pictures.

I'm about 99 percent sure you can use a starter from a standard 5 ton cummins 250 . I bought a NOS 1 for my M813 because in its auction it looked like the wire melted off the terminal, So I thought great bad starter. But it wasnt the case. After compareing the 1 on my M920 it looks identical...
Very nice truck !! great score !! and super clean. If your driving it all the way back to ND I would put 4 good batteries just in case and then if you have to turn it off or have a problem or run out of fuel you can get it started. not easy finding a 24v jump lol .
Lets Pray they don't have a 6.0 in them LOL ! Or they will spend more time in the shop than on the road , At least thats been my experience lately with mine lol
