Just a note, those 1/2" ball valves which look like Menards, Home Depot, ect, might not be"Full Port" valves. The flow is rather restricted compared to a full port valve which costs about twice as much. Look at the two through the valve and you'll see. Your valve has about half the area passage...

I've hauled 5 1/2 ton of sand. It's the only time I have ever needed 1'st gear. It hardly even sat down.

They are in 101's all the time for sale in the un-named place. You don't need to re-route the exhaust in my opinion.

I've had my deuce on a scale. It weighed 13,000#'s. If the fronts are rated at 5000#@ and the truck has a front bias of 70% (I have no idea what it is), that puts 9100#'s on the fronts. Add 500# for the winch, 200# for the tow bar, and you are almost at 10,000#. I would've never guessed. If...

I bet 5 ton of gravel or sand would make a big difference, or is that prohibited?
