Buggyman, that is a real nice job there. I'll have to look at Jeg's.
How many BTU is the unit you have installed there?
My wish is to break the 15000 BTU barrier of RV units, and step up to about 20,000+. It can be done with a good sized compressor, but I am let to believe that the deuce's...
Find a friend who maybe tiinkers or is an 'old and experienced' ham radio operator.. or best yet a TV repairman if you know one. A guy like that can figure that thing out in a few minutes. It has only 4 wires, and most likely one is ground. I would almost bet that one pin is mike audio out...
The M35' driver side lower cab door hinge is shot, I cannot disassemble or remove it except perhaps by unbolting it from both door and truck. The hinge pin is frozen in and half-eaten through. and the 6-lb maul will not help!
Does anyone know who sells them or where a good one can be found?
Now that summer is here..

It needs an external compressor, but at 22000 BTU, it is alot more powerful that the typical 15000 BTU 120VAC operated rooftop unit.
The forward-facing intake on the Red Dot condenser also...
It looks lie a very comfy headset. The INT plug looks like a common S-video connector. If that is the same kind of connector, it's a 4-pin job with a metal shield. The 4 pins (for video) as Y, GND, C, GND. In any case the video cable might be a cheap out, or just buy the connector and make one...
RE: Re: enclosing the genset
Matt, I am really glad you asked. Here is a paraphrase of an excerpt from an e-mail I sent to gillette, the manufacturer on June 24. They have no answered yet. How about that?? Maybe I have to call and speak with an engineer. In any case:

Having used the air conditioner for some time now I can report that it works very well. The air coming out of it is really cold and it sucks the moisture out of the air very well. The drain pan is 18" long and about 1" deep. The only possible shortcoming is that the truck needs to be parked...
Bjorn did a whole article on this and added an exhaust brake to his truck. I have the impression he did not have to spend alot of $ because he found a couple of used ones but there was definitely some time and welding of the exhaust pipe involved.
All hubs and bearings seem normal temperature and about the same after a highway run. The air steering is disconnected to remove any influence and there was no difference with the pulling. About alignment, the only thing is toe-in on that truck, right? I don't know alot about alignment.
I kindly ask for some advice..
My M35 pulls to the right a bit. The faster you go, the more it pulls. I have equalized all pressures in the tires and all the joints and knuckle pins are lubed. I have semi tractor steer tires on front in like-new shape and eight same size NDTs on the back. All...
that Frantz filter referenced on the link above is interesting.

The Frantz site says It would require two of them to cover the multifuel due to oil quantity. But I suppose one could just change the toilet paper roll more often.
I like those new style lamps, and would consider it sincerely even if I stay stock, but I still would like a couple more lights in case one unexpectedly burns out (the law allows 4 headlights) and I like the looks of those fixtures. Are they custom or is there an ID for them? Could they be A3...
Unless you like fiddling alot with a radio, it might be best to see what you have and ask Columbia what they would give for it. They stock spares, and you never know when a contract from South America will come along.. They are not too practical or so I better immortalize them here before they...
