A lot of different folks made the road trip to the TX Transportation Museum's 1st Annual MV Show. We had a great turnout from the Alamo MVPA, a member from the Lonestar MVPA, and even an entry from the Ft Sam Houston Museum. We hope to make this an annual event so all TX Steel Soldiers should...
The actual ins company is Victoria Insurance (Falcon is just an independent agent) so you might call them directly to see if they sell in Maryland. Their customer service number is 1-800-888-8424. If they do sell there they should be able to direct you to a local agent.
Barring that just...

I need to start asking for a commision if I keep sending him business.
The trip permit actually looks identical to a temporary tag (which it is) so I would think as long as it was DISPLAYED in states other than TX you should be okay. Of course I am not a lawyer (nor have any desire to be one) so you should check with the DMV first.
I am one of those that got...
Here is a link to the Sep 26 MV show at the TX Transportation Museum. Anybody that would like to participate PM me so we can give the club a heads up. We'd love to have as many vehicles as we can. I'm going to try and show up with a M37, M35 W/W, M1009, and a M101A1 trailer.

No luck on fit of the evaporator at least. I called Mike at OD Iron and he offered some advice on the installation but I don't see how it can physically fit in the space. It hits the cowl on the right side and the defroster duct on the left side. I'll probably just remove the glove box...
Turns out the truck is actually nicer than I thought at first look. Almost new paint (bed hasn't even been used), says it was undercoated in '98 but looks a whole lot fresher than that, winch cable looks unused, and it's actually pretty clean.
Huge thanks to TexAndy and Keith_J for hanging...
You know Carl we can export Rudy's for the right price. I'm currently looking for a starter relay for a MEP003A that I would gladly overnight a pound of brisket (maybe even some cream corn) for.
And M813rc I better get a call ahead of time for filming. I'd hate for something bad to happen to...
Last 2 auctions at Ft Sam they had winch trucks going for under $800. Now I didn't get mine that cheap but then again it's a little nicer than the $800 ones. Still, get the truck, take the winch, sell the truck. Very easy.
EUC cleared for new deuce yesterday (of course Ft Sam doesn't allow pickups on Fri) and TexAndy and Keith_J will be helping with the recovery.
Didn't get a chance to start her at inspect because it had the old style slave recepticle and I left my adapters at home so have my fingers crossed on...
This was number 7 for the year. I think once you get established in the system it gets much easier. My first one took a total of 6 weeks I believe but a lot of that was on the GL side (losing the paperwork, revisions, more revisions). Now I keep a copy of the Export Letter and my DL on the...
How did either GL or Battle Creek misappropriate your money? You paid for an item and you will either recieve that item or get your money back. Just because they're not working on your time schedule doesn't mean they've stolen your money.
For those bit*hing about GL's monopoly you have...
45 days is a time frame for worst case scenario. I'm currently working on my 7th EUC this year and the longest it's ever been at BC was 2 weeks. The usual hold up is at GL when you initially send the paperwork. It sits in someone's basket until they get around to it. I've found emailing it...
I had one on my 1009 pop while I was sitting in the GL yard looking at another truck. Once I looked it over real good noticed almost all of them were dry rotted to some degree.
Rory I had the front tire on my '57 blow the steel belt out the sidewall while it was sitting in the shop with no...
