    Fort Sam Recovery

Like I posted earlier just let me know and I'll do what I can to help with the recovery. I've got slave cables so you can skip the forklift push start.

    Fort Sam Recovery

Glad it went well for you. If you have another Ft Sam recovery in the future let me know and I'll be there to stand in the rain too. Oh, and we only got 8.4" of rain between Jan 1 and Aug 31 so no dissing our rain. MC

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

If it's a salvage contract you'll have to bid on about 50k pounds at a time. Doubt they'll be selling them one per lot.

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

I'm certainly glad I just bought 2 more. I'll probably hang on to them for a couple of sale cycles to verify if any more are going to be released before I start offering them for sale at around $20k a piece ;-)(well isn't that what some yard-bird has them on eBay for?)

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

I'm glad it's usable intel. Also, I am not on the AR15 forum so somebody else got the news as well as me.

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

Okay guys this is the semi-official word that I got today when I picked up one of my deuces. I asked the yard manager (Rod, who I trust a great deal) what was going on with the pulled trucks. He said he hadn't heard anything about them but would check while I got my truck going. He came down...

    GL wants my Deuce back

EUCs are being cleared. Mine came through this afternoon that I sent to GL last Monday (8 days total turn-around). Now what they do with the deuces they pulled from the current sale is a different story but seeing as they are still approving EUCs you guys that already bought can breathe a...

    GL wants my Deuce back

I just checked on my EUC. It took 2 days from submission to GL to Sent to BC. Been there a week now. I'm not so concerned about the 2 I have sitting at Ft Sam as I am about the 2 in my driveway. But as has been said, it is what it is. If I have to give them back I won't be happy but I will...

    Amazing Race Burning Deuce

The opening segment on the Amazing Race last night was from Viet Nam and they were showing the fall of Siagon. About 3 film clips into it there was a deuce fully engulfed in flames. They were only on it a couple of seconds but enough time to get a quick look at it (and then back it and look...

    Progressive Insurance

Sometimes the ones that say others don't want to do the work are really only trying to make a sale. This conversation comes up repeatedly and as a former PROGRESSIVE CLAIMS MGR I can tell you, as a company, they do not want to insure MVs for a variety of reasons. Anyone using them to insure...

    Lackland AFB Family Day C5

Here are some more shots. Only 4 vehicles showed up due to the rain earlier. Turns out we got nearly 4" at our house but thankfully that was much further north. David Barrera, our club events coordinator (front left 1st photo), retired from the AF after 37 years and was able to get us up in the...

    Lackland AFB Family Day C5

They wouldn't let me back it on board. Probably thought I'd take out the side of it but I'd be more worried about scratching my deuce.

    Lackland AFB Family Day C5

The Alamo MVPA participated in Family Day for one of the Air Wings today. Things started out rainy and looked like we were going to cancel but then the rain stopped and it was just cloudy for the rest of the day. This shot was just as we were getting ready to leave and they let us set up in...

    10,000 dollars of Deuces. . .

They don't look THAT bad, but then again they don't look THAT good either. A dealer from Colorado bought some out of Ft Sam a sale or two ago. Maybe he got those figuring he could pay more for the trucks but have less in transport fees.

Welcome Dustin. I used to live right up the road from you in Spirit Lake. Sure miss the scenery (just not the snow).
