Anyone know what it is? I'm thinking of just throwing a compressor in the back of the truck for the 130 mile trip home. I'm just curious how much air I need.
Didi you ever think that there are people that want to know what the bidding is doing on all of these trucks. Easy, place bids on each truck, if you win a few for cheap, all is well. Otherwise you know exactly what the bidding is doing.
I tried turning it. It's locked up. I thought about putting a compressor in the back. ranchopper has a compressor. It's a matter of shipping it. If all else fails, I will put air in the back.
I met up with Scott this morning at Camp Dodge. I really wanted to come preview but just couldn't make it.
The good news:
The engine was rebuilt in 1981, the generator rebuilt in Sept 2000.
It has a spring seat (is this air ride?), heater, air shift front diff, and a brand new vinyl cargo...

You should've seen the...
I called Scott the other day. He gave me SgtMajors number, who never answers. So I call the freight desk only to be given another persons number. That person says Scott is not supposed to be giving people their number to come look at trucks and Scott HAS to be there.
So scrap plans to go there...
Has anyone ever looked into the EPA regulations of a road licensed duece burning fuel other than low sulfur diesel mandated by the EPA?
Realizing that the engine is multi-fuel, is it actually legal to burn anything else in it?
I just called Scott to set up an appt to look at my truck, and he said he works at Rock Island, and gave me another number to call at Camp Dodge. Who have you guys been contacting?
There was no more room to go. I was hitting the deuce a little at a time, and when I slammed down the bid on the gen accidently, my bid, as large as it was, was like 50 bucks higher than the guy that had REALLY wanted it the whole time. And he wanted it pretty bad, must be because of the ASK...
