Hey Randy, can we see some pics of your singles? I'm putting together a set of pictures showing different options.

    Buying a used humvee

I just don't think that the HMMWVs will be replaced "in a year OR LESS" or that you will be able to find one "for a WHOLE LOT LESS than $10,000". If they were to EVER become available through public auction, then demand will definitely keep the price higher than $10,000. I like your ideas (and...

    Deuce on 12.5R20s

Looking good Gerhard. I have only seen 12.00s in the NDCC pattern. I love the XMLs.

I agree that maybe there are too many forums already. Just look a the most recent posts in each forum and you can get an idea.

    Deuce on 12.5R20s

Also, the 14.5R20 is the same height as 11.00X20

    Deuce on 12.5R20s

The 12.5R20 and 9.00x20 are effectively the same height (I think the 9.00 is listed to be slightly larger). A 12.5 definitely does not increase ground clearance 3.5". You'll need 15.5s or 395/85R20 to do that.

    baby HEMTT update

If the axles were from a marine corps donor truck, then good chance for the lockers.

    Super Single?

Lax- That is two words!!!! I have put them to the test and I believe they outperform the NDCC duallies by just about every way imagineable. Wallew- Nothing new in my post. A search will reveal it has all been posted here before. You want to flip the rears to widen the track. Even then...

    Super Single?

Super Singles I have one set of the super singles for sale and ready to roll. The rims are 10" wide, double beadlock, 2-piece bolt together with the inserts. They are brand new, never been installed on a vehicle. I had these custom made for our fire trucks and have been really...

    baby HEMTT update

Nice work Jones. With the 900 series axle, does that mean you have the air shift front? Do those axles have lockers in them?

    Steering wheel size and height

I have thought the 5tons provided less room?? I need to go relook and measure.

Anyone interested in Air Locking Diffs for the deuce?

The M1075 has air controlled lockers (both interaxle and intraaxle) in addition to air controlled transfer lock. Would be nice to have on a duece!
