Adding a third axle to an M36

1 ton- Thanks for the encouragement and ideas. It is going to be done. I got the axle, driveshaft and springs over the weekend. Just need to determine whether or not to install the locker I have for it. No plans to move the tandems, just going to add in the rear. If it doesn't work out, I...

    Anyone curious about the M35A3?

Fellas, Need confirmation on tire size???

JR- You can duals with the 1100s, but most just run singles. I have a set of 1100s NDT mounted on deuce rims if they would help. We could work a trade on your XMLs if you can't use them.

    Torque (Torsion??) Bars

Has anyone experienced a failed torque bar on the rear suspension? I have some showing some wear, and was thinking about making a preemptive strike. Any tips on rebuilding or who to call for replacement?

Fellas, Need confirmation on tire size???

Do you realize how big these are gonna be?? No duals with the 395s! If you think weight is an issue, step up to 15.5/80R20. Same size tire, 12000# rating vs. 8000# on the 395s. I run 33,000# gross on the 15.5/80R20 in super single configuration. Let me know if you have any other questions...
