Nice tool when I get my lathe hooked up I will be making things like that too. I hope there are some PTO's and winch drive shafts at Aberdeen as I am putting a 20K on the M 52. Got the bumper off today and the winch with extensions is loose and waiting for the road to dry out so the forklift...
RE: Engine Prelubricator
Wouldn't a small hydraulic pump just love to fill this bill turning at a lower RPM than rated and only pumping motor oil for a few minutes? I am thinking a pump rigged with a lovejoy coupling would do fine with just about any good sized motor and the right torque. The...
Kenny you sure are a guy who knows how to have fun. If I had 7 hours of free time I would do a thourough check on my vehicle wheels too. Still have to change out the brake cylinder on the M 52 rear axle soon I hope. The money is here to finish the payment and just waiting on my efforts to get...
Sorry this is not for my CUCV but my Suburban is a cousin so I thought some of you might have a thought on this.
My 1998 Suburban just ate the injector pump. Still under warranty so that will be fixed but the dealer wanted to drain and clean my fuel tank and lines for a tune of over 700...
Thanks Mike,Chris, Kenny and all the others who are working to make this a great time. If anyone has something they need let me know I have a good stockpile.
RE: Your Elmo truck for sale
Does the cookie monster come with it? I hope if you do not get what you want for it that you will reconsider and make room for it. I really have not had room for most of my MV stuff it just seems to fit in when I get it home.
I did not have room in my Suburban to bring all the tools we needed and the Argon tank and regulator and flux core wire is pretty good for common steel sheet metal. If it was stainless or aluminum the tailgate rack and the rest of the set would have had to be haulded up into the foot hills...
I for one have been thinking over the painting issue on my trucks and wearing ACU's all day now for over a year I am toying with trying to make one of them ACU digital. Reproducing the squares to size should be a fairly straightforward project and the fun of getting it right would be rewarding...
Sorry Chris, did you use a drill to make the stem to the thead diameter I did not mention that but it is critical to getting a tap to cut correctly also tap oil assists in getting it right and turn and back. I feel responsible for setting you up on this. I have cut threads with them but the...
Congrats and no four old ladies to deal with either you were blessed on more than just the price. Love to hear of members getting great deals sounds like Jon's rare hole drilling rig in Cally. Love to see more shots of the truck at home and at work doing what it was made to do.
Found this site in Dakota City off of I 29 that sells good 1100 20 and other tires at very reasonable prices (quoted $25.00).

If anyone is close they were very pleasant to talk to.
Try going down to the National Guard unit Maintenance section as they work on them and Ryan is absolutely correct on the reason they are Pentagon shaped.
Sorry Gimpy I still have my vitage origial issue one aquired 26 years ago but so many of my friends who got divorced went through really bad finacial woes right after the split. My problem is reverse I keep wanting to buy more MV's and my wife thinks the driveway is too congested already.
Chris:
Way to go that is a great truck. I wish the Army has rebuit them instead of going for the FMTV.
The fourway tire tool I have has a tap on it to retreat the stem these tools are available at tool stores

RE: Re: RE: How to tow an M105
Navy Trainmaster now you just need to add a pintal hitch to the back of the M 105 and tow it and then the Jeep with the bus down to SC that will solve the trailers inferiority complex with a I hauled your aXX all the way down here. I hope to move to a similar...
